Terms of Service
Tvara is not a medical device. Readiness scores, fitness age, training plans and coach guidance are informational. They are not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for a doctor. If something feels wrong with your body, talk to a clinician, not an app.
These terms are the agreement between you and the developer of Tvara ("we", "us"). By creating an account you accept them. If you don't, don't use the app.
1. What Tvara is
A health and fitness app that tracks training, nutrition, cardio, recovery, sleep, cycle and habits, and gives you feedback derived from that data — including from an AI coach. It reads from Apple Health and Health Connect where you allow it, and pairs with Apple Watch and Wear OS.
2. What Tvara is not
It is not a medical device, and it is not regulated as one. Nothing in the app diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition. Specifically:
- Fitness age is a fitness estimate presented with a confidence band. It is not biological age, not an estimate of your lifespan, and not a health assessment.
- Readiness is a training-load signal built from sleep, HRV and recent activity. A low score means consider training lighter, not that you are unwell.
- Illness signals flag when your overnight metrics deviate from your own baseline. Deviations have many causes. The app says so, and so do we.
- Cycle predictions are statistical estimates from your own logged history. They are not contraception and must not be relied on to prevent or achieve pregnancy.
- Nutrition data comes from public food databases and from what you log. Values are approximate.
3. Your account
You need to be at least 16 in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland, or 13 elsewhere. One account per person. Keep your credentials to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@tvara.health if you think it's been compromised.
4. Subscriptions
Tvara is free to use. Tvara Premium unlocks AI food and voice logging, the AI coach, adaptive programming and deeper analytics.
- Billing is by Apple or Google, not by us. We never see your card.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, until you cancel. You are charged within 24 hours of the period ending.
- Cancelling is done in your App Store or Google Play account settings, and takes effect at the end of the current period. See the refunds page.
- Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Price changes are notified in advance and never applied to a period you have already paid for.
5. Your data, your content
What you log is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — to store it, sync it between your devices, and compute the things the app shows you. How that works in detail is in the privacy policy.
You can export everything and delete your account from inside the app.
6. Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, decompile or scrape the app; don't resell or redistribute it; don't use it to build a competing product; don't try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to our systems; don't upload anything unlawful; don't share one account between people.
7. Our content
The app, its design, its exercise library and animations, and its written guidance are ours or our licensors'. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them inside the app. Third-party components we build on are credited on the licences page.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Tvara working but we don't promise uninterrupted service. The app is local-first by design, so it keeps working offline and syncs when it can. Features may change or be withdrawn; if we remove something you paid for, that's covered by clause 4.
9. Liability
Tvara is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury arising from training decisions you make using the app's guidance. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
10. Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google — cancel that separately.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before taking effect. Continuing to use Tvara after that means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and may bring proceedings there.
